Building and Buying Green in Indian Country

Building and Buying Green in Indian Country, a practical guide for California Tribes is the subject material under review. This government publication impacted me strongly on a number of levels, and in the context of my many researches founded many important ideas from just reading through it.

On the surface it seems silly to advise Native American Indian tribe about green living. Do native Americans really need counsel from the federal Government regarding how to build naturally and with a moderate environmental footprint?

It would seem to me that it would be the Native American Indians who would write the blueprint. Certainly they had to be the first North American sustainability experts!
