Most Recycling Friendly Cities

Here are some great recycling friendly cities that encourage and groom sustainable living. But the reports has some confusing data that conflicts with information from a data trawl I did for another environmental study project.

The foremost cities of California also happen to me curiously similar to some cities on the worst polluters in California. read the fne print and decide for yourself.

1. Fresno, California
Fresno Madera is almost 60 per cent ozone. How this city can be at the top of the best recycling practices has got to be due to compensatory recycling measures. The city must have a bolstered municipal recyclign effort.

2. Fremont, California
Air quality in Fremont, CA is 13 on a scale to 100 (higher is better). Seepage and soil pollution are serious issues.

3. San Antonio, California
Air quality in San Antonio Heights, CA is 11 on a scale to 100 (higher is better). Air quality regulators have their work cut out for them.

4. Burlington, Vermont
Burlington is known for industrial accomplishments. But that usually means waste and ecological concerns as well. Each year, motor vehicles in Vermont emit about 1,000 tons of toxic and carcinogen compounds into the air. The average vehicle emits about a half a ton of air pollution each year.

5. Anaheim, California
The Walt Disney portal is a trucking hub and has a lot of industrial activity. Several large freeways run through it.

6. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
That Pittsburgh is on this can only be through compensatory recycling. Pittsburgh is historically the msot polluted city outside of metro areas within larger industrial centers.

7. Jacksonville, Florida
Florida ranks second in mercury poisoning warnings. The EPA is placing a cap on river pollution.

8. San Diego, California
San Diego is a rising metropolitan cultural hub. Traffic is a rising concern and smog traveling from Los Angeles is as well.

9. Madison, Wisconsin
Madison is a good place to be employed in pollution control. It seems the more a place needs these types of professions, the more environmental polution needs repair. Runoff management and sewage in lagoons mean Madison has “Superfund” all over it.

10. Durham, North Carolina
Home to some seriously undeveloped fossil fuel resources offshore, North Carolina has some choices to make about environmental issues and ongoing pollution cleanup. The Superfund scorecard for Durham air quality is a shocker. Air pollution is toxic in areas.
